Fellow 2018, Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Civic Liberal Arts Student Fellowship “Thanks to a generous donation from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, each semester Lang offers a suite of Civic Liberal Arts courses that brings community partners, called Visiting Fellows, into Lang classrooms.  This program offers a rare opportunity to learn from distinguished non-faculty professionals in a variety of fields.  In addition, Civic Liberal Arts employs one paid Student Fellow per course, who supports the
class through projects designed in conversation with the faculty and the Visiting Fellow. Work might include research assistance, assuming a leadership role in class discussions, documenting the course, and supporting class events.  This is an opportunity for undergraduate students to assume teaching assistant responsibilities while learning and receiving course credit.

Winner 2017, Hugo Boss Stipend
One-time award of $10K made to 4 Fashion Design seniors from Parsons the New School (New York) to support final senior theses projects. Selection was based on faculty recommendation, academic standing and quality of work.
For the following project:

Winner 2017, The Shoe Polytechnic (Politecnica Calzaturiero) x Parsons
Annual collaboration between Politecnico Calzaturiero (Padua, Italy) and Parsons The New School (New York, USA) to celebrate collaboration between the two schools. 10 Parsons seniors were selected as winners based on academic standing, quality and innovation of work. Each Parsons winner worked closely with a Politecnico Calzaturiero senior student to create 4 shoe prototypes followed by a visit to Padua that included further education on shoe construction, history and its industry.
